Canoga Park Preschool and Kindergarten is located 7839 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Canoga Park, California 91304.
Established since 1968, the school was designed by preschool consultant and early childhood educator Robert F. O'Connor with the aim of meeting the environmental needs of young children.
Children aged from 2 – 6 years are offered a warm and nurturing setting to help them with the development of their language and social skills by way of themed lessons using colors, letters, numbers, shapes, sounds and many other fun filled activities.
Developmental levels are used as guidelines within the programs as opposed to the age of the child.
Balance and physical development, eye hand coordination, large and small motor muscle development, psychological and emotional development, sequential learning and social skills are covered at each level. Computers along with educational games and table toys are also part of our program.
The kindergarten uses a sing, spell read and write core program and our success rate of children being able to read before they leave for 1st grade is extremely high. For those children ready to take on more at an early stage, our program expands to meet with their individual development.
We are open each day between 7am and 6pm for full day or half day programs throughout the year and our dedicated and fully qualified staff are dedicated to ensuring your child has the best care and education available.
